At https://github.com/HenriWahl/docker-dhcpy6d a containerized version is available.
The resulting container image can be loaded from https://hub.docker.com/r/henriwahl/dhcpy6d:
docker pull henriwahl/dhcpy6d
Due to the outdated version of dhcpy6d available at Debian there is now an own dhcpy6d repository available, delivering the latest stable versions of Debian and RedHat/CentOS packages.
It works at least for Debian 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.
Add the following source to your Debian APT sources:
deb https://dhcpy6d.ifw-dresden.de/files/repo/stable/debian/ /
Add the gpg key to your APT keyring:
wget -q -O - https://dhcpy6d.ifw-dresden.de/files/repo/stable/debian/key.gpg | apt-key add -
To use the RedHat/CentOS 8 repository simply add the following to your repository information:
[dhcpy6d-stable] name=dhcpy6d-stable baseurl=https://dhcpy6d.ifw-dresden.de/files/repo/stable/centos/ gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=https://dhcpy6d.ifw-dresden.de/files/repo/stable/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-dhcpy6d enabled=1
We need a new maintainer for the Debian package of dhcpy6d, because it currently is a little bit outdated. This situation will not change soon, because the current maintainer Axel won’t do it further – but thanks for all work done so far!
If you know Debian packaging or like it or know somebody who does and want to help a little project see details at the dhcpy6d orphanage page.
